NCS Technology Statement

NCS has teamed up with two world class technology companies known for their paradigm breaking innovation, Microsoft and LANSA, to deliver the most technologically advanced applications for direct store delivery (DSD*) in the marketplace today. NCS’ products take advantage of open and flexible technology to position our clients for the future and to allow growth within their organizations without the pain and costs normally associated with overcoming technical hurdles.Host and Mobile are the two categories of applications that are unique to companies that run a DSD team. 

Host or route accounting applications act a “data intermediary” between the enterprise / back office systems and the mobile units taken by the driver or sales reps to the point of delivery / sale.  Mobile applications handle all the transactions that occur at the point of product delivery such as invoicing, returns or pick-ups, collections and surveys. They can also handle pre-sale or vend off the truck sometimes known as up and down the street sales. These transactions are passed back to the host system.
