Hosts First Client Conference
NEW YORK, May 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Numeric Computer Systems,
Inc. (NCS), a New York based developer of applications
supporting the "Order to Cash" process, held its first client
conference. The conference, held in midtown Manhattan, covered
consumer trends and issues specific to the direct store delivery
market and showcased the latest product offerings from NCS
including eRMS and eXpress Route, part of the eXpress Suite.
Guest speakers included Doug Adams of Prime Consulting Group
who discussed Scan Based Trading, and Steve Rosenberg of the
Uniform Code Council who detailed data synchronization, the
global standards model, UCCnet and DSD process changes due to
the advent of new technologies. Tom Miller, Executive Vice
President of Sales and Marketing of Intermec Technologies, Inc.
kicked off the second day by reviewing technology changes and
its impact on mobile computing and direct store delivery.

NCS' latest generation Enterprise Order to Cash solution "eRMS"
was showcased during the conference which was developed in a
toolset that allows clients their choice of hardware platform,
database, and user interface. NCS' mobile solution, was
developed using C# deploying Microsoft's .NET framework,
allowing for web services, wireless communications, XML
integration and the ability to reside on virtually any mobile
hardware available.
